Scene 1: The Walk
EXT. NAIROBI CITY STREET – NIGHT
Wide shot: Ojizzo walks along a quiet street, shot in profile. He’s got a backpack, headphones and any other relevant equipment. As he approaches a streetlamp emitting a warm, golden light, his phone vibrates. An animated notification pops up above him:
You’ve received $2300 from Hilda Njeru.
Close-up: Ojizzo’s face lights up as he smiles to himself. He clenches his fist in excitement.
OJIZZO (voiceover):
“Msongamano haukomi - the hustle doesn’t stop. / Hustle yangu haitakoma. The grind doesn’t stop.”
The next shot shows Ojizzo approaching the entrance of Snowball Studios, hauling over his music equipment as he steps inside. His girlfriend is waiting for him on the balcony outside, chatting on the phone.
GIRLFRIEND/FRIEND (on phone):
“Every day, music this, music that. All my Ojizzo does is work.”
Ojizzo pauses mid-step, smirking. Turning toward her, he responds confidently:
OJIZZO:
“You know this already. Tell your friend I’m always with watu wa hustle. I get paid to be myself.”
Scene 2: The Room
INT. OJIZZO IN THE STUDIO / OFFICE – NIGHT NAIROBI
Wide shot: Ojizzo enters his studio (Snowball Studios in Nairobi), sets down his bag, and swivels his chair to face the camera. His workspace is organised yet vibrant.
